Cold Cast Bronze is a casting technique in which bronze powder is suspended in a resin mix and brushed on the mold. The casting is then filled with a Marble/Resin mix. Once the casting is cured and removed from the mold, it is burnished by rubbing the surface with steel wool until a fine luster is achieved. The Cold Cast Process allows the look of Cast Bronze with a resin-bronze powder mix. You now have a beautiful Cold Cast Bronze item that many cannot distinguish from traditional foundry bronze for about a third of the cost of foundry bronze. The bronze finish is permanent and only needs a gently dusting.
